The newest Café Flatwhite has opened its doors, designed by Akka Okki. Located in the heart of Beijing’s 798 Art District, the decommissioned industrial factory is home to a thriving artist community. Bauhaus style buildings play host to a score of important art studios, galleries, lofts, publishing firms, design shops, restaurants and cafes – as well as regular events including Beijing Design Week. Within this hub of culture and creativity sits Café Flatwhite’s newest location, a delicatessen and coffee roaster that imbues New Zealand’s world-class coffee culture in Beijing.
